FIFO stands for “Fly-In Fly-Out.” You’ll typically work a roster such as 2 weeks on site, 1 week off (though rosters vary). While on site, your accommodation, meals, and transport are usually covered by your employer. You’ll be working long shifts but will have significant time off between swings to enjoy life at home.
